Mushroom Curry

MUSHROOM CURRY

Ingredients:
mushroom - 1 pac (cut into 4's)
onion - 2 (chopped)
tomatoes - 2 (chopped)
coconut milk (thick) - 1.5 cup
curry leaves - a handful
corriander leaves - a handful
green chillies - 2 (slit in between)
boiled potato - 2 (cubed)
salt to taste
red chilli powder - 1 tsp
corriander powder - 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
oil - 2 tbsp
bay leaf - 1
cinnamon - 1"
cloves - 3
Method:
- in a pan add oil
- add the cloves, cinnamon and bayleaf
- add the curry leaves, onions and green chillies
- fry till onions are transparent
- add the tomatoes and the ginger garlic paste
- fry till the raw smell is gone
- add the turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder and corriander powder
- add some water and allow that to boil for 4 - 5 mins
- add the corriander leaves and add the mushroom
- fry
- allow that to cook for 3 mins
- add the potato and coconut milk
- allow that to cook for 2 mins and remove from fire
- serve that with rice or roti.
