Kadai Tofu

KADAI TOFU
Ingredients:
tofu - 1 cup (cut into cubes)
onion - 1 large (finely chopped)
ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
corriander powder - 1/2 tsp
cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder - 1 pinch
chilli powder -3/4 tsp
garam masala - 1/2 tsp
kasthuri methi - 1/2 tsp
tomato puree - 4 tsp
fresh cream - 1 tbsp
sugar - 1 pinch
oil to fry
salt to taste
corriander leaves - 2 tbsp


Method:
- add oil in a pan
- add the finely chopped onions and fry till golden brown
- add the ginger garlic paste, tomato puree
- fry. add the cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala
- fry till the raw smell is gone
- add water if necessary
- now add the tofu and fry
- add the kasthuri methi and corriander leaves
- close with a lid
- let it cook until the gravy is dry
- before serving topp it with fresh creeam.
