Vegetable Sabji


VEGETABLE SABJI
Ingredients:
Carrot - 2
peas - 1 cup
potato - 2
beans - 1 handful
onions - 2
tomatoes - 2
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
red chilli powder - 1 tsp
salt to taste
corriander leaves - 2 tsp
thick coconut milk - 1/2 cup
water - 1/2 cup
Cloves - 2
oil - 3 tsp
Method:
- finely chop carrot, beans, potatoes, onions and tomatoes.
- in a pressure pan add oil
- add the clove and add the onions
- saute them until they change their colour to golden brown.
- add tomatoes and salt and fry
- add ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell vanishes
- add the vegetables and saute for 4 - 5 minutes

- add red chilli powder and add water

- leave them to boil for 5 minutes

- add corriander leaves and coconut milk

- pressure cook for 2 whistles- serve hot
Note:

- Tasty with chappathi, pori, dosa, idli or Rice.
