CHILLI CHICKEN (Chinese Style)
Ingredients:
Chicken - 1/4 kg
capsicum - 2
onions - 2
green chillies - 5
pepper powder - 1 tsp
vinegar - 2 tsp
soya sauce - 2 tsp
green chilli sauce - 2 tsp
salt to taste
oil to fry
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
garam masala - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
water - 1/4 cup
Method:
- wash and clean chicken
- add them to a pressure pan
- add the ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, pepper powder, vinegar, garam masala, water along with chicken and steam it for 2 whistles
- remove from fire and leave them aside
- cut capscium into cubes
- cut onion into dices and seperate them
- slit the green chillies
- in a pan add oil
- add the onions and green chillies and fry
- when they are transparent add the capsicum, green chilli sauce and soya sauce and fry
- fry until the raw smell goes off
- add the cooked chicken
- fry until the water is fully gone.
- serve.
