VERMICELLI UPUMA (MICROWAVE)
Ingredients:
roasted vermicelli - 1 cup
onion - 1 (cut lengthwise)
green chillies - 2 (cut finely)
corriander leaves - 1 tsp (finely chopped)
salt to taste
oil - 2 tsp
lemon juice - 2 tbsp
hot water - 1/4 cup
mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
channa dal - 1/2 tsp
urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Ingredients:

Method:
- in a microwave bowl add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal and channa dal and set it to high for 2 minutes
- add the onions, green chillies and salt and set in high for 4 minutes
- when the onions are brown add vermicelli, turmeric powder and water (sprinkle water if you are using a thin vermicelli, I have used anil vermicelli which is very thin) , mix well
- set to microwave on high for 3 minutes
- add the corriander leaves and lemon juice
- mix well and microwave for 1 minute
- mix and serve.
- in a microwave bowl add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal and channa dal and set it to high for 2 minutes
- add the onions, green chillies and salt and set in high for 4 minutes
- when the onions are brown add vermicelli, turmeric powder and water (sprinkle water if you are using a thin vermicelli, I have used anil vermicelli which is very thin) , mix well
- set to microwave on high for 3 minutes
- add the corriander leaves and lemon juice
- mix well and microwave for 1 minute
- mix and serve.
