Palada Pradaman (Microwave)

This is a sweet/dessert which is most famous in Kerala.
Palada - 1 pac
milk - 1 lt
sugar - 1 cup
khova (sweetless) - 250 gms
condensed milk - 200 gms
cardamom powder - 1 tsp
saffron - 1 pinch
ghee - 2 tbsp
cashew and dry grapes - 1 tsp each

- in a microwave bowl, heat milk and keep it aside. I left them for 2 minutes in High
- in another bowl, add khova, sugar, condensed milk and mix well
- set it in microwave at high for 2 minutes
- add palada by adding a cup of water and microwave on high for 8 minutes (or until its cooked)
- mix the cooked palada, milk and the khova mixture together
- add the cardamom powder, mix well and microwave at high for 3 minutes
- in a bowl add ghee and add the cashew, microwave on high for a min, stirring in between
- add the cashews to the milk mixture
- add the dry grapes to the ghee and then microwave at high for a min, stirring twice in between
- add them to the milk mixture
- add the saffron and mix well
- microwave for 3 minutes on medium high.
- set it to cool. This tastes good when served chilled.
