Prawns Pea Curry

PRAWNS PEA CURRY
Ingredients:
prawns - 1/4 kg (cleans and deveined)
peas - 1/4 cup
onions - 2 (finely chopped)
tomatoes - 2 (finely chopped)
red chilli powder - 1 tsp
corriander powder - 1/2 tsp
masala powder (refer powder page) - 1 tsp
salt to taste
turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
oil - 2 tbsp
cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, bayleaves - 2 each
corriander leaves - a handful (chopped)


Method:
- in a pan add oil
- to that add the cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and bayleaves
- to this add the onions and salt and fry till they are golden brown
- add the tomatoes and ginger garlic paste
- fry till they are mushy
- to this add the turmeric powder, masala powder, chilli and corriander powder
- add some water and bring it to a boil
- add the peas and cook till they are soft
- now add the prawns and add the corriander leaves
- cook till they are done
- simmer for another 2 - 3 mins and serve
