CABBAGE CORRIANDER PORIYAL
Ingredients:
cabbage - 2 cups (chopped)
green chillies - 3
corriander leaves - a handful (chopped)
salt to taste
oil - 3 tsp
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
urad dal - 1 tsp
Method:
- cook cabbage and salt and leave it aside
- grind green chillies and corriander leaves to a fine paste
- in a pan add oil
- add mustard seeds and urad dal
- when da changes colour add the onion and fry till golden brown
- add the salt to taste
- add the corriander leaves paste and mix well and fry till the raw smell of the green chillies add the cooked cabbage
- mix well
- serve as a side dish
