Curry Leaves Powder


curry leaves - 6 cups (dried)
red chillies - 18
salt to taste
urad dal - 2 handful
channa dal - 2 handful
pepper - 1 tsp
tamarind - a small ball (size of half lemon)
hing - 1 tsp


- dry fry urad dal, red chillies, channa dal, pepper, hing, tamarind, seperately

- allow them to cool

- add the curry leaves and salt

- now add the fried items and grind to a fine powder

- to serve --- mix with hot rice and sesame oil/ghee
