Vegetable Pulao

VEGETABLE PULAO
Ingredients:
rice - 2 cups
water - 4 cups
oil - 5 - 6 tsp
green chillies - 6 (slit in between)
carrot - 2 (chopped as cubes)
potato - 2 (chopped as cubes)
peas - a handful
beans - a handful (chopped into 1" sized)
salt to taste
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
cinnamon, cardamom and cloves - 2 each

Method:
- in a pan add oil
- add the cinnamon, cloves and cardamom
- add the vegetables and green chillies
- fry for 3 - 4 mins
- add the ginger garlic paste
- fry till the raw smell is gone
- add the salt to taste
- now add the rice and water
- cook till done
- serve with a spicy gravy.
