Kulfi

KULFI
Ingredients:
condensed milk - 1/2 tin
milk (boiled) - 1/2 lt


sweetless kova - 100 gms
bread - 4 slices, ( sides removed)
cream - 200 ml
corn flour - 4 tsp
chopped cashews and badam - 3 - 4 tsp
saffron - 2 pinches
sugar - 4 - 5 tsp (optional)
warm water - 1/cup
(the kulfi mixture looks like this after removing from fire)
Method:
- mix condensed milk, milk and boil
- warm the water and make a paste by adding the corn flour.
- in a mixer grinder add corn flour water, cream, bread, kova and sugar and grind them into a creamy mixture
- now add ground paste into the boiling milk and mix
- remove from fire and add the saffron, nuts and allow it to cool.
- pour into kulfi moulds and freeze them over night.
(look at the consistancy.. should be creamy and thick)
Optional:-
If you want different flavours, then you can add badam powder to this or add pista essence.
- modify the ingredients according to your taste
